Understanding Sanatan Dharma: The Eternal Law

Jan 15, 2026 Ved Vidushi 6 min read

Sanatan Dharma is often translated as "Hinduism," but it literally means "The Eternal Law."
It is a way of life that recognizes the inherent divinity in all beings and the interconnectedness of existence.

Unlike dogmatic belief systems, Sanatan Dharma is based on universal truths like Karma, Reincarnation, and the search for Oneness (Advaita).
It invites us to live in harmony with nature and our own 'Swadharma' (personal duty).
